BACK TO BASICS

My home is on the market and the reality of moving has  hit me - I will be leaving the place I call "home" for a new adventure in just a few months - time to get back to basics - what do I mean? June - the beginning of the summer vacation period is the time of the year when I think about what to do with my summer harvest, what my summer reading will be and how I can improve my out door rooms - areas in and around the house which I enjoy year round and especially during the summer months.  Because the real estate market  has seen an up swing in markets such as the SF Bay Area I realize that my annual summer plans will be put on hold in order to make plans for my new space. Time to get back to the simple beauty of june and appreciate the coming of " summer"

CHANGE YOUR VIEW

Is the view from your windows a green one? Do you like what you see? If you answered no to these questions then be proactive - change your view, talk to your neighbors and increase the useable green spaces close to your home. This simple action will:  1. increase your property values, 2. Give you peace of mind 3. Green your neighborhood ( cool it down during the hot months and help to keep temperatures even and reduce fluctuation during the spring and winter months. 3. Increase the likely hood of seeing lost or stray animals, and ofcourse encourage increased interaction with your neighbors ( who will admire the new green spaces in front of and behind your home:)
